Learn to snowboard | Fitness
Anyone with an average level of fitness can learn to snowboard. Please be prepared to fall lots and pick up a few bruises....butt, elbow and knee pads at the ready.
The fitter and stronger the better, so if you can get some exercise before the course you will have a much better time and get more form the coaching.
Learn to snowboard | Clothing
Pleisure can provide snowboarding pants and a jacket at a small cost if required. If you are going to provide your own clothing you can contact us for advice on what would be best. Below is a list of essentials:
-warm waterproof gloves or mittens
-warm hat
-snowboard/waterproof jacket
-snowboard/waterproof trousers (snowboard pants are ideal as they are loose fitting and reinforced)
-good quality goggles
-snowboard/ski socks
-layers (thermal layering with a fleece is the best way to keep warm under your jacket)
